This is just right for my Mac Book Pro. No problems. I can plug in 2 external hard drives, a jump drive, iPod. Plenty of power. Nice size. Doesn't take up much room.Perfect.
This is one great "Hub".took it out of the box, read the installation instructions, plugged it in and "It Just Worked" (first time,with no hassells). I only mention this because I purchased a 7-port hub from another manufacturer ,(D-***k), that I ended up returning. After countless setups and emails to tech support, this unit just did not work. Belkin products are highly recomended.
I love this usb hub and would definitely buy it again. It arrived quickly. At the time I bought it, it also came with a rebate so the price could not be beat. It works well, looks nice, does not move around the desk/stays put, has power light and hub in-use lights. No regrets whatsoever with this product.
I cut the code off the box (yes, I checked thoroughly to be sure it was correct), sent all requirements in and they say it's invalid. I had one and then ordered another for a laptop. I love this product. I would not ordered this product without the rebate. I am not happy with the rebate that was offered. I sent everything in, and the rebate people are telling me it was an invalid UPC code. Now the product is $[.]. than when I bought it several weeks ago.
At first, my husband scoffed at me for paying $30 for a USB port, but now he is a believer. I bought the Belkin to replace a crappy USB he had given me to use, but at one point, my MAC refused to read my jump drive from it anymore. This port has a handy top entry for 2 devices; it looks slick and matches my Mac, and it's small enough to disappear on my desk. Worth the money.
